Let’s get your ears to smell what happened to Prikkle Academy recently with a little personal story as related by our Founder, Fasoranti Damilola;
“So, the early hours of May 25, 2017 happened, I smiled in the space when I strolled into my inbox and saw one uninteresting message.
I managed a sluggish click on the uninteresting link in the email and it landed me in a place that made my heart burst for a good shock.
The link opened up and this >> Prikkle Academy has been selected by Social Enablers, in India, as 1 of the 2 Nigerian social enterprises that made the list of the top 100 most inspiring Social Innovations and Entrepreneurs in the World.
I paused, turned around, cleared my eyes and surprised my internal organs with an unseen flying tear.
I believed my eyes were reading the right thing but the veins in skin couldn’t believe it at that moment.
I said to myself, ‘but we haven’t started all the awesome projects in our pipeline, our baby doesn’t have arms or legs yet, the cells are not close to becoming embryos’.
I began to think about many other things, some questions walked up and down through my mind;
But, what if we didn’t start this whole thing about infusing creativity and innovation into Education starting from the grassroots?
Does it mean what will be would have been?
Does it mean the universe would have manufactured our name and put it in that list?”
